Report cards were carried home with students on Wednesday. If you did not see a report card, ask your student. Remember that report cards were held for unpaid fees.
If you know of anyone who has an incoming Merwin Kindergartener, please encourage him/her to register the child as soon as possible. It is difficult to prepare for the year if we do not know who is coming.
As you are aware, OAA testing will begin the week of April 25th. At the end of testing, we will have a celebration with Movie Day. If you can donate a bag of miniature candy bars, please send them to the office as soon as possible. Movie Day is set for May 6th.
Specials for the week are: Monday/Blue, Tuesday/Red, Wednesday/Yellow, Thursday/Green, and Friday/Red.
Monday after school is Mad Science Classes. It is also Merwin PTO Night at Woe is Me in Eastgate.
Tuesday at 7:00 is the Amelia Middle School PTO Meeting. Fifth grade students and their parents are invited.
Wednesday after school there are dance classes. The Flying Pig Practice mile is at 6:00.
Thursday is Dessert with the Principal during lunches. Bowling class is after school.
Friday is “We deserve the best” shirt day. If you bought a color me shirt, that would be a great day to wear it. If you would like to purchase a shirt, the PTO bought some shirts and will sell them for $5 each until they are gone. After school there will be dance classes.
Please reserve some time to visit the West Clermont Art Show at WT Elementary on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17. Many of our students will have art work displayed. Also don’t forget that the Merwin Art Fair for parents and grandparents will be held on April 26th from 6-8 in the Merwin gym.
