Specials for the week are: Monday/No School, Tuesday/Green, Wednesday/Blue, Thursday/Red, and Friday/No School.
Remember that Monday is Presidents’ Day and we will not have school.
Tuesday we have rescheduled Rodeo Day for 5th graders.
Wednesday Mrs. Algiers will hold a luncheon at 11:30 on the stage for all classroom finalists and alternates from the Merwin Spelling Bee.
Wednesday and Thursday mornings we will be conducting mandated bus evacuation drills as the buses arrive at school. If you are a parent who drops off students in the morning, please be vigilant of students exiting the buses as you are leaving our lot.
Thursday students will carry home interim reports for third quarter. Please note that this is the first quarter for our new grading procedures for Reading Street. For details, see the newsletter which will also be carried home or available on line on Thursday. Also on Thursday, students will carry home information about Camp Invention. This is a great learning activity for the summer offered at WT Elementary June 27-30.
Friday is teacher in-service and students will not have school.
Looking ahead:
Remember that March 1st is the last day to purchase a yearbook for $20. Order forms are available in the office.
The PTO Father-Daughter Dance will be held in the Merwin gym on March 4th from 7-9.
