Hello Merwin Families!
This week Kindergarten B attends school on Friday.
We were very happy with 5th grade attendance last week during SAT testing. Thanks to parents who worked appointments around our testing. We will be doing make-up testing on Monday afternoon. Also on Monday, there is a West Clermont Board of Education Mtg. at the Union Township Civic Center at 7:00.
Wednesday is the last day to turn in orders for the Principal’s fundraiser. Thanks to all families who participated!
Last week the Cincinnati Enquirer published a preliminary report showing data for school report cards. In that release was the rating for Merwin based on our data from spring testing and attendance from the entire school year for all of our students. Until it was released to the media last week, we had been told not to
share the ratings due to an investigation by the state auditor. I think that since the “preliminary” report was released by the state, it is now safe for us to celebrate that Merwin is once again EXCELLENT WITH DISTINCTION. Congratulations goes out to the Merwin staff and students for their hard work in maintaining the highest rating given by the state. Ever since the Excellent with Distinction rating was added five years ago, Merwin has met the challenge. I am proud to be the principal in our fine school!
