1. The Kindergarten schedule for this week: Group A comes Monday and Wednesday and Group B comes Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
2. This week the PTO is bringing The Children’s Theater to Merwin for a presentation of “The Frog Prince”. Students in Kindergarten Group A, and grades 1 and 3 will see the presentation on Wednesday morning and students in Kindergarten Group B and grades 2, 4, 5 will see it on Thursday morning.
3. Thursday students in Mrs. Rees, Mrs. Hamilton, and ½ of Mrs. Miller’s classes will travel to the Nature Center. Remember that they need to pack a lunch and drink in a disposable bag. Then on Friday, students in Mrs. Henshey, Mrs. O’Connor, and the rest of Mrs. Miller’s class will travel to the Nature Center. They also need to pack a lunch and drink in a disposable bag.
4. We continue to have more than 25 students tardy to school or leave early. Please make every effort to have children at school on time and not leave until dismissal.
5. Please send back requests for conferences as soon as possible. Children carried request sheets home on Thursday and Friday.
6. Remember that report cards go home on November 10 (Kindergarten Group A will get report cards on November 9). The Veterans’ Assembly is also on November 10. There is no school on November 8 which is Election Day and November 11 which is Veterans’ Day.
