Weekly Update

Specials for the week are Monday/Blue, Tuesday/Red, Wednesday/Yellow, Thursday/Green, Friday/Blue.

Thanks to the Merwin PTO, Children’s Theater is coming to school on Monday for two performances.  Grades K-2 will attend at 10:00 and Grades K, 3-5 will go to the assembly at 1:30. 

Remember that the PTO meeting originally scheduled for Monday of this week has been rescheduled for Monday next week, March 21st at 7:00.  I hope you can join us!

Tuesday is Merwin PTO night at Woe is Me in Eastgate.

Thursday is the 2nd grade musical at 7:00 at the AHS PAC.  Students are expected to arrive at 6:00 for a short closed rehearsal.  The doors will open for family and friends at 6:50.  We hope you can join us!

Friday is the first day of our spring book fair.  Students are once again scheduled to attend the book fair with their class.  There will be make-up shopping for absent students only so mark the day your student needs to bring his/her money to shop.  Students attending on Friday are the following classes:  Miller, Orleck, Dodds AM, Dean, Jacob, Brown.

AYAC will hold registration for Football and Cheerleading in the Merwin gym from 10:00 to 1:00 on Saturday, March 26th.  Flyers are available in the Merwin office.

We also have flyers in the office for the Cincy Kids 4 Kids 3 on 3 Charity Basketball Tournament for grades 5-8. 

I have worked with the Merwin PTO to set up a time for Merwin parents to meet with Dr. Brooks concerning the recent staff cuts and the state of West Clermont Schools.  I hope you will join us in the Merwin gym at 7:00 on Wednesday, March 23rd so that you have the opportunity to ask questions and be an informed voter!
