Specials for the week are: Monday/Yellow, Tuesday/Green, Wednesday/Blue, Thursday/Red, and Friday/Yellow
The Study Island Contest for February is: The class that answers the most questions with the highest accuracy will win 30 minutes of extra gym time from 10:45-11:15 on a day that does not interfere with Kindergarten gym. The contest ends at midnight on February 28th.
Wednesday night is the last Conference night of the year. Conferences are from 5-8:30. If you need to schedule a conference, call or email the teacher or contact the Merwin office.
Friday the Pierce Twp. Police Dept. will be at Merwin for the Eddie Eagle Assemblies for students in grades K-2. The assemblies teach children about gun safety to make sure that they do not handle guns and tell adults immediately. AM Kindergarten and first grade will go at 10:45 and PM Kindergarten and 2nd grade will attend at 2:00.
Valentine parties will by on Monday, February 14. If you are interested in helping with the party, contact the party planner for the class or your child’s teacher.
We are praying for no snow at Merwin. We already owe one day for all students and two days for morning Kindergarten. You will be hearing more about make-up days in the future.
If you know of any Kindergarteners for next school year, appointments for registration can be made starting February 21st. Please pass the word to other families!
Remember that girls T-Ball sign-ups will be at WT park on Tuesday, February 15 from 6-9. Amelia Knothole sign-ups will be Saturday, February 12 from 10-2 at Bachelier Park.
