Weekly Update

Report cards were carried home on Friday.  Make sure you check back packs if you haven’t seen them.  No report cards were held first quarter.

Specials for the week are:  Monday/Green Day; Tuesday/Blue Day, Wednesday/Red Day, Thursday/Yellow Day, Friday/Green Day.

The Book Fair begins on Monday.  Classes attending Monday are Hamilton, Webb, Gabelman, Love, Lemaster, Chandler

Tuesday is Conference Night and it is Mrs. Ogden’s Birthday.  Conferences are scheduled from 5-8:30.  The Book Fair is open in the library for parents during conferences.  Also on Tuesday, the classes visiting the book fair include Miller, Orleck, Thompson AM, Dean, Jacobs, Brown.  Don’t forget that the 5th grade field trip to the Cyclones game is during school on Tuesday too!

Wednesday classes visiting the book fair are Bossart, Davis, Dodds AM, Noble, Sawyer, Bradburn.  Girls on the Run and dance classes will be held after school at the regular time.

Thursday the 4th grade is going on a field trip to Ft. Ancient.  Classes attending the book fair are  Rees, Cann, Blatt, Kuebel, Shebesta.  Bowling classes are after school at Cherry Grove Lanes. 

Friday classes visiting the book fair include Greer, Burnett PM, Dodds PM, and Thompson PM.  Dance classes will be held at the regular time after school.

Dessert with the Principal had to be rescheduled due to the Book Fair.  Rodeo Day will be held on November 22.  You will remember that Rodeo Day is when we give out honor roll and perfect attendance certificates.

I want to thank everyone who participated in the Principal’s Fund Raiser.  I had a great response and sincerely appreciate your willingness to help!

I have been asked to spread the word:  Our Superintendent, Dr. Gary Brooks, and our Board President, Dan Krueger invite you to Coffee and Conversation on Saturday, November 20 from 8-10 at Great Scott Diner in Amelia and Saturday, November 27 at Everything Bagels on Eastgate South Drive.
