A big thank you goes out to Angie Tucker and the many volunteers who made the PTO Fall Festival a big success. Twenty-six boxes of canned goods will be delivered to the local food pantry as a result of the collection taken in place of admission! Thanks to everyone.
Another big thank you goes out to the party planners for the great parties we had for students on Friday! Everyone had a great time.
Specials for this week are: Monday/Green Day; Wednesday/Blue Day; Thursday/Red Day; Friday/Yellow Day.
Monday after school Girls on the Run will meet in the library.
Tuesday is Election Day and there is no school for students. Teachers will be attending in-service. Don’t forget to vote.
Wednesday Girls on the Run and dance classes will be held at the regular times after school.
Thursday there is bowling after school.
Last Thursday your children carried home conference request forms. Please return these to the homeroom teachers as soon as possible. Conferences will be held the evenings of November 16 and 23. Report cards will be carried home on November 12.
Don’t forget that the annual Veterans’ Day assembly will be held Wednesday, November 10 at 10:00 AM. We are still looking for Veterans in our Merwin family. Invitations are available through the homeroom teachers.
Remember that there is no school on Veterans’ Day, November 11.
