Preparing our school for the upcoming school year is a huge task for our Merwin office staff. In an effort to assist Mrs. Ogden and Mrs. Hospelhorn, the PTO has volunteered its time to help Merwin prepare for the 2010/2011 school year.
We will start our efforts Monday, August 9th. You can volunteer anytime during the week between the hours of 7:30am-3:30pm. If you will be bringing your child(ren), please provide them quiet activities to occupy their time. Children will not be allowed to run through the school due to construction and maintenance; but they will be able to play on the playground. There will not be any supervision or childcare available.
If you are able to help in the Merwin office, please email bethreynolds@fuse.net with the day(s) and hours you are available. We would like to have enough volunteers to provide help through the end of August.
One thing that makes Merwin Elementary such a special place is the great working relationship that exists between the parent community and staff.
